The Battle of Waterloo (18 June 1815) was the last major engagement of the Napoleonic Wars (1803-1815), fought by a French army under Emperor Napoleon I (r. 1804-1814; 1815) against two armies of the Seventh Coalition. Waterloo resulted in the end of both Napoleon’s career and the First French Empire and is often considered one of history’s most important battles.
On 1 March 1815, Napoleon returned from exile to regain control of his empire, beginning the period of the Hundred Days. The great powers of Europe responded immediately by branding him an outlaw and declaring war. The decisive Battle of Waterloo was fought between the towns of Mont-Saint-Jean and Waterloo in modern Belgium, then part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Napoleon’s objective was to crush the Anglo-allied army of Arthur Wellesley, Duke of Wellington, before it could be reinforced by a nearby Prussian army under Field Marshal Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher. Napoleon nearly succeeded in his goal when his men captured the farmhouse of La Haye Sainte and stood poised to break through the allied center. However, the timely arrival of several Prussian corps and a failed charge by the French Imperial Guard dashed Napoleon’s hopes of victory. Four days after his defeat at Waterloo, Napoleon abdicated for a second time and was exiled to the island of St. Helena in the South Atlantic, where he would die six years later.
The Battle of Waterloo has often been regarded as one of the most decisive battles in history; it brought an end to the Napoleonic period and ushered in a new political era known as the Concert of Europe. Additionally, Waterloo marked an end to nearly 23 years of constant warfare that had devastated continental Europe since the Battle of Valmy in September 1792. After Waterloo, Europe enjoyed decades of relative peace, as the great powers did not fight another major war until the Crimean War (1853-1856). Still, the importance of the Battle of Waterloo is sometimes overstated; historians have argued that the odds against Napoleon were impossibly high, and had he not been defeated at Waterloo, he likely would have met his end on some other battlefield shortly thereafter

i suck at rolling a joint so bad that having to roll it makes the whole experience of smoking more stressful than just not bothering. i long for the thc-laden edibles of my homeland
Death to America
just smoke out of glass
correct approach however i’m traveling so i don’t have my tools (:dennis-reynolds-fetish-shit:) handy. plus i feel like i need to learn eventually just to not have this issue again

Apple pipes are really easy and work really well. Just shove a pencil down the stem hole and then stab the side at a 90 degree angle.
around here they sell prerolled paper cones, then all you need is a grinder and a funnel (and weed)
Unironic skill issue. And I say that not to be discouraging but more to say that, like any skill, you can get better through concerted effort and practice. Keep rolling big dog, you’re gonna make it
oh 100% a skill issue. i looked at a youtube tutorial for it and nailed it the first try (after fucking iup the first one of the day pre tutorial lol) but then fucked up the second one also bc my hands were too sticky bc i don’t have a grinder so i was picking the bud apart with my fingers. woeful

What part is tripping you up? I have big thumbs so the hardest part for me was getting the paper to slide between the weed and itself without crumpling. I find that the stickier buds are easier to roll. Try rolling a big fat one and just taking a couple puffs at a time. I also found it easier to roll them thick.
Otherwise invest in a small bubbler or pipe and go that route but I’m sure you’re aware of the methods by which you can smoke
I got a magical butter machine and their decarb box to make edibles a lot cheaper than the retail cost here in southern Ontario. Despite the name it can do more than just butter. I like to make infused coconut oil. It stores well long-term, it doesn’t have much of a weedy taste, it works great as a drop-in replacement for vegetable oil in recipes. And I can easily dilute the infused coconut oil with regular coconut oil if I want to vary the strength. Virgin coconut oil as a mixer is even better because it’s great at hiding the weed taste.
One of my favourite ultra-easy ultra-quick edibles recipes is for pot chocolate bark. Melt 100 grams of coconut oil in whatever infused/non-infused combination you like. If you have a double boiler you’ll have more time to properly mix the ingredients, but in a pinch you can microwave the oil too.
Quickly add in about 10 grams of vanilla extract, 75 grams of cocoa powder, 50 grams of raw honey. Mix them very thoroughly, then pour into a 20cm x 20cm square pan, and smooth it out to an even height. Freeze it immediately. I usually do a 50/50 mix of infused oil and regular oil. This makes nice slightly-sweetened dark chocolate edibles that barely have any weed taste and store well in a freezer. For the same cost as about 20-ish cheap chocolate edibles at retail prices, I can get maybe 600-ish squares of a typical retail size. The machine and the decarb box basically paid for themselves after the first batch.
200+ dollars for their butter machine, yeah idk
Yeah you can just use a crock pot on low.
holy shit that’s awesome, what a great tip. thanks!
