Labor has a factually, technically, objectively better plan in motion and along come the Liberals with a plan that’s worse by every possible metric, and that every person with any sort of technical knowledge confirms is a terrible idea… yet with the aid of some questionable media, they somehow manage to push their message out to the populous and end up winning the next election based on feels?

Atleast the Queensland LNP party seem to be against it, so that might help.
Then again, Australia voted against the NBN proper, so I am not holding my breath
