Microsoft quietly changed how folder backup works in the OneDrive app on Windows 11. Now, the OS enables it by default during the initial setup without asking the user for permission.
It sucks while you’re learning a new way of interacting with your computer but after several months when it’s all second nature again there’s a lot to appreciate about the Linux approach. It’s really nice to have an OS that isn’t trying to hide what it’s doing from you.
