This community rule should be changed. It’s necessary and good to hunt down shitheads that defend pedophilia and other abhorrent things.

leaving the post up for almost 2 days, while successfully getting the misogynist/transphobe/CSAM supporter banned from multiple instances, and giving a temp ban to the debatebro mod running defense to cool off and hopefully do some self-crit, seems like the rule didn’t get in the way of doing good in this particular instance
the demonstrated flexibility with the rule reduces the urgency of the need for it to change, though reading more community input could affect any of this
other than the post being locked and removed, not sure how a rule change would have made much of a difference to what happened

TIME-OUT CORNER, TIME-OUT CORNER, NAA-NA-NA-NA-NA! ♫ " regarding a Certain Someone who shan’t be named; as well as experiencing a somewhat frustrating amount of pent-up energy because I was in the middle of writing a comment telling him off when it happened.
