yada yada back at it, attempt number blah out of a million attempts. I’ve noticed smoking makes my hypoglycemia worse and I have more low blood sugar attacks. Added in with the stroke risk that comes with it and it’s not looking good for my health. I really don’t want to end up crippled at a young age or die, obviously.
So I’m trying again. Put a tracker on my phone and I have some of the gum left over to help with cravings.
Congrats man. I’m coming up on 2 years nicotine free in August. It’s hard, but it is possible and it does get easier
Congrats on your sobriety
Thank you!
hell yes, i’m rooting for you
Death to America
Good on you! It’s not easy, but the first step is the hardest!
Yeah, I’ve done almost a month before and the first week or two are the hardest with cravings.
You can do it, comrade!
you can do it!
o7 a difficult journey but well worth the benefits.
Fidgety stuff for your hands to do, mints or small sweets to help w the hand to mouth fixation. One day at a time one hour at a time one minute at a time.
Quitting was one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself, and it’s the same for you.
hell yeah, wishing you all the best comrade
Good luck! If you need some quitting-smoking comedy to tide you over, the first chapter of Italo Svevo’s Zeno’s Conscience is a classic memoir of the narrator’s many last cigarettes.
Taking care of your health is cool and good. Stop smoking and you’ll own the libs, and they must be owned. You must the one who owns them.
