If I sign up on an instance that happens to be halfway around the world, how does that effect my overall performance? Obviously locally hosted content will be slower, but what about remote content?

Debating on creating a new account on an instance hosted closer to my geolocation

    I will add some CDN like Fastly so the latency should improve. (Don’t know yet when that will happen)

      Thanks for the prompt response Ruud.

      I don’t mean to make it sound like there is an issue now, I’m just thinking days, months, years into the future, my account is tied to a server across the world and this was the response I was looking for. Much appreciated
