Blue was almost immediate for me, followed closely by yellow. I think the bias in blue skews towards not just Americans but those of us who lived through the 80s.
Then I deliberated on the same five for green that Zagorath did. That made me look at the other three that I was sure must be purple, and two of them just clicked. Then the third, and then I rescued the fourth from the green pool.

Sometimes you have to come back to it after a while. Got them all pretty quickly after that

I kept thinking of shows I saw as a kid while going through the categories today. I guess I could have thought about why that was the case

A tricky one today - default purple win. TWEET snuck into my green section. I would probably never have gotten purple on my own.
HOT DOG. Even as an American that was obscure. It feels like a real “old timey” kind of saying - and I’m no spring chicken.

Yellow was pretty easy.
But I had 5 possibilities for green. The correct ones plus “tweet”.
Blue I only found 3 members of. Without having been spoiled, I’d never have found hot dog. I’ve never heard it used that way in my life. A classic case of Connections’ American bias, I suppose.
Purple is quite a clever one. I like it. But I’d never have gotten it myself.
Am American. Hot Dog ruined my attempt.
