Yeah, we need to stop respecting the “pastor” title. It’s so often self-granted and there are no qualifications or prerequisites. Anyone can call themselves a religious leader.

A bit funny that in spanish pastor is also how you call a shepherd.

This is the original meaning, like in “the Lord is my Shepherd.” I always asked if that would make me a sheep.

        From Wikipedia:

The word “pastor” derives from the Latin noun pastor which means “shepherd” and is derived from the verb pascere – “to lead to pasture, set to grazing, cause to eat”.

This is a really good point, and Pastor Weirdfish has a nice ring to it.

From now on I’ll start all declarative statements “As a religious leader…”

A Christian should not be voting at all. Their alliegance is with God, not the world.

And God’s allegiance is with the weak. Christians can engage politically, but as in all things it should be an act of love, for the weak, for the poor, for the needy, for the “lesser”.

But things like “Christian Nationalist” is a painfully absurd oxymoron.

I looked into him. He’s not a pastor anymore and doesn’t have any leadership role at any church. He does have a Christian business but I couldn’t look up if it’s a registered 501c3 but they have a patreon.

How could you think that the Christian god of the bible would consider Trump worthy of anything but the deepest pit of hell?

That’s simple, you take a dash of hypocrisy, a gallon of ignorance in your religion and top it off with just enough cognitive dissonance so you don’t bleed out your ears when you think about it…blam one Christian fascist ready to go.

Donald is the personification of all the bad that Jesus warned about. Christians should see him as the literal antichrist if they had an objective view on him.

So weird, I thought Christian fascists loved all fellow zionist fascists like Kamala, Biden, and Trump?
