I work in a team of 5, 3 have rang in sick.

I can see my patience wearing thin today!

Ring in sick yourself. There’s clearly something going around…

I hear what you’re saying, but im the guy who doesn’t call in sick for the sake of taking a couple of days off.

Our sickness is monitored, and 1 of the guys who rang in sick is apparently being moved on soon because of his poor sickness.

I used term “them” because I couldn’t tell if a customer’s name was female or male, so I had to listen to his wife go on about how tired she is with genders.

Like, ma’am, I thought ya’ll might have been lesbians and I was just trying to be polite. It’s not that serious.

The company demands I be in the office 2 days a week. This wouldn’t be so bad, except that the internet isn’t functioning but I still have to be here because policy is policy.

What’s their reasoning that you have to be in the office?

Probably something like ‘We’re paying for this space, so you better fucking use it’.

I’ve been on holiday for two weeks and today is my first day back. So I’d say having to go to work this morning annoyed me!

I trammed the part in at my work, probed it and it cleared. Then it went to probe another section but the rotation was off. No big deal, happens a lot, you just clear the program, set the origin to the correct position and probe it.

This POS machine then failed the original tram 3 times and threw a G61 error before it even touched the part. Re-tram it, comes in nicely, set the first drilling to go and the MFer threw a Carron alarm after I checked and double checked the connection.

GAH, I’m tired and hungry and it just wants to push my buttons today, I can feel it lmao
