So far it has been a shitshow, the only good reason to leave the union is because you want a more ““radical”” (I can’t find the right word, daring maybe) free trade policy to get super cheap goods, remarkably agricultural ones from the Americas - otherwise you’re just better of inside the EU. I found it hilarious when they were establishing the term for Northern Ireland and Ireland borders, saying that NI could be in a privileged position having access to both the British Market and the European one… Which is just what you get when you’re inside the EU lmao. And if they wanted more independence they could’ve joined EFTA - but of course that was never the point
