I never in a million years would go to r/all because i knew i would never find a new sub to read in all that mess. However, now on monero.house the “all” tab actually has stuff of interest that i would not have seen if i just looked at my subs. My guess is because we are interested tangentially in the same sorts of things. So a person who is interested in monero may also be interested in the darknet, tor, etc even if they dont know about those communities existance

    Was just thinking that myself last night. Though if lemmy tskes off I’m sure it’ll go back to being less than interesting.

      Depending on instance, yes. More general instances absolutely will. An instance like monero.house may not because not everyone is allowed in

        What’s the requirement to join, proof of ownership of a Monero wallet with historic transactions or something?

          You can either be active on another social media platform and follow some instructions or pay 0.01 monero to join to prove you know about monero and how to use it
