Google offers 128GB of storage for the Pixel 9 Pro and XL, but that’s nowhere near enough for a flagship built to last seven years.
I, for one, am outraged that cheaper options are available for people who don’t use very much storage.
Aren’t people mad because the prices are disconnected from reality? It looks like an extra $100 to jump 128 to 256? Meanwhile we can all see retail prices for 128 G microSD cards.
Apple does this bullshit with their soldered RAM and everyone is rightfully enraged by that also.
It’s the same when you buy a laptop, the upcharge on extra ram and storage is brutal. It’s worthwhile to buy a basic model and upgrade it.
A 256 gb sd card is like 25 dollars. And that is retail money. It costs them probably pennies.
