(BRAIN) — Tern is asking retailers to be on the lookout for 48 of its bikes and e-bikes that were stolen while in transport by rail from Los Angelas to a Tern warehouse in Illinois last month.The company is working with law enforcement and insurers following the theft of a container of bikes worth a total of about $170,000.

    I love when the value of stolen goods from a company is always based on selling price, and not actual cost to produce.

    But for regular folk, the value of an item is depreciated into oblivion when you have to report it as stolen to your insurance company!
