Motorcycle maker Harley-Davidson has become the latest manufacturer to drop diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives amid sustained pressure from anti-DEI activist Robby Starbuck.

In a statement Monday, the Milwaukee-based company said it has not operated a corporate DEI function since April, no longer has minority-owned supplier goals and plans to exit socially motivated training for employees.

Harley-Davidson’s statement, posted on X, said that it sees “every leader’s role to ensure we have an employee base that reflects our customers and the geographies in which we operate” – and the company would limit training to legal requirements.

    They did try for a lower cost entry model that was more sporty. That didn’t Pentwater the market at all. Like…at all at all.

    Once these helmetless boomers die off, that company is up shits creek.

        Cheapest is 14.5k?? I get it’s electric but God damn my Yamaha FJR1300 was 13k with 0 miles off the damn showroom floor (also, pro tip… don’t ever buy a brand new bike) ;)

        Edit: just looked at Yamaha website. A new FJR1300 is now 18.3k

              I double checked because my comment was based on memory.

              LiveWire S2 Del Mar Zack from RZ got 66 miles to a “tank”. lol
              It has a 10.kWh battery. Estimated range from manufacturer: 113 miles.

              There are four different models from LiveWire. Three of them have that same 10.5kWh battery.
              One has a 15.4kWh battery. Estimated range: 146 highway/95 city miles.

              So yeah, clearly only a couple D cells in those things. Cool bikes though, i will say.
