    The person who invented video advertisements with audio on gas pumps needs to be flayed alive

    I also crossed out alive since they are dead for thousand of years at this point, but still.

      Is also techically an advertisement, same thing for lost pet posters etc.

      it’s not necessarily inherently bad, just capitalism hellworld incentives

        We don’t have many surviving examples but Pompeii walls were pretty full of it too and not really better than today considering differences in development level.
