I understand why it’s called that, I just wish it was called “verse” or something less lame sounding.

Honestly, I joined kbin because I couldn’t take the opening portal of lemmy seriously with the, “link aggregator of the fediverse” subtext.
I agree, but Reddit and Digg were also stupid names and I still spent a ton of time on those pages.
It is also really confusing for new users.
