In particular, I’m disappointed that they went ahead with removing captcha. I get that they need to rewrite it, but surely they could have kept it in until the replacement was made?
Will lemm.ee be using a modified version to include some temporary captcha and prevent spammers and bots signing up en masse?
For now, I am not planning to upgrade to 0.18 as is - there are a few key issues with it that I believe will potentially hurt lemm.ee. Those issues will most likely be fixed some time next week, I’ll make a decision on how to proceed then!
FYI the Jerboa app wants 0.18 minimum. It’s crashing for me sometimes. At the very least I get a warning about it.

I much prefer this approach. Thanks for the update. I’ve seen a lot of comments on other instances where people are wanting the latest updates implemented asap regardless.
Great stuff! That’s pretty much what I was expecting, 0.18 has many of the fixes we want, but it seems like it’s bringing a few new problems also.
