Finished Greedfall!
I really liked the game. The narrative, the quests, the world, all are very good. Combat, while not great, isn’t bad either. Excited about Greedfall 2 now.
Dropped Earthlock. The game was good, but for some reason I just lost interest. Worth checking out if you are a JRPG fan.
Played and finished Jenny LeClue - Detectivu. It’s a 2D narrative mystery game. Really enjoyed it. Story was good, gameplay was really fun. Only downside, the game didn’t finish. It’s to be continue. Though, apparently the sequel is in development, so hopefully we will learn about it soon.
Started The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and loving every minute of it. Not going to say much about it here, since it’s just released and many people here would want to experience it themselves, but if you have any questions, you can ask them here.
What about all of you? What have you been playing?
Just finished Last of Us 2 again on NG+. I would say it was even better the second time!
Today I was browsing the store and saw Kingdom Come on sale for 2.99! Don’t know if it was an error but I bought it successfully and played a bit already. Seems good enough so far!
Oooh, Kingdom Come is really good, but kind of a slow burn, you have to take your time with it.
Assassin’s Creed syndicate. It’s ok, but a bit repetitive.
I’m in a weird space with fall activities/work/professional development course work/etc., so while I’m in between games, I also don’t really want to get sucked into something too involved at the moment. I bought Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2022) on sale on steam awhile back, and realized last week that I had never installed/played it. So I figured that was a good game to bide some time with. Until I beat it this aft, which sort of sucks because the campaign is never very long on these modern CoD games.
Nevertheless, I’m now in the mood for FPS’s, so I loaded up the OG CoD tonight. It’s been 21 years since this game first came out, right about this time of year in fact. I was in my freshman year of college, and we were obsessed with it. A copy or two floated around the floor of our dorm, and I swear pretty much the entire floor was playing it that fall term. It actually hasn’t aged that badly either. I last played through it about 5 years ago, and I imagine I’ll go through it again over the next week or two.
Yeah, CoD have good gunplay, but I am not a big fan of multiplayer, would love to play a good CoD campaign. Though I haven’t played any CoD game in quite a while.
I’m not a fan of multiplayer either. The campaigns are usually good, but they get kind of trope-y, and they aren’t very long. The franchise is starting to run out of steam. It also doesn’t help that Activision Blizzard is whoring it out way too much, the ux is getting pretty bad.
I wish i had time to play more at the moment. But playing Persona 3 Reload Aegis DLC. Not much into it yet.
Is this the one with the female protagonist? I recall watching some news somewhere, but am not really following Persona 3.
There is a version of Persona 3 with a female protagonist besides the male, i think the fes version. But Reload doesn’t have her. Doesn’t make everyone happy as newest version
FES version didn’t have a female protagonist, it’s a feature of the PSP version (P3P). But P3P doesn’t have the epilogue that FES had. It’s truly a bummer that there’s still no definitive edition of Persona 3.
I think Persona 3 Portable on the Vita had a female protagonist too. I believe it was just a port of the PSP version though.
I always struggled with the Persona games. I had P4 Golden on my Vita, and that game was pretty strange, I got weirded out by it about 15-20 hours into it, and never got back into it. They had P5 on sale at Best Buy for PS5 awhile back, I almost grabbed it, but picked up FFVII Rebirth instead. Still haven’t got around to opening it either. I always did love the style of the Persona games though.
