Paradox try not to make Hoi4 a Fascist wet dream challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)
Everytime I tried to play HoI4, I just made whatever country I played communist. I assumed that is the victory condition right?
It’s very fun to do. Red Canada liberating the US is my go to favourite play through.
Since Germany didn’t have a communist focus tree on the 2 occasions I’ve played it I just take the hitler focus but use communist minister, referendum, proceed to puppet half of fucking europe
Huh? There’s a communist path for Germany. I think you have to get rid of Hitler, civil war and then use the new focus tree. It may be from the German Empire rather than Nazi Germany. I could be wrong; might be the mods I"m using.

The next best option would be to play as Netherlands, go communist, join COMINTERN and fuck up Germany.
I mean, it is a WW2 game. The wehraboos are a given unfortunately.
Germany has a decrepit old focus tree that’s laughable compared to everyone else’s. A major problem seeing as how they are the lynchpin of the WW2 era.
One of those focus paths is also literally making Germany a Luxemburgish paradise that allys with the USSR…
Also other nations are getting super weapons too. They just focused on Germany since them and Austria as getting new focus trees.
