What has the federation brought you? Hm? Peace? Security? Ohhhh, I’m sure you think it’s all one big happy family, but let me tell you something. The federation would dangle you out to at a moment’s notice if it meant they could continue on with no sacrifice. When the federation talks about peace and security they don’t mean for you. They mean for earth, for andoria, for all those founding members and their comfortable leaders sitting in some distant utopia somewhere. They don’t mean for you out here on the fringes. Suffering.
