It’s my partners birthday over the weekend and whilst I’m working the big day itself, she’s got the week off so in theory we might be able to grab some actual alone time with one another. Failing that I guess we’ll go out for a ‘family’ birthday meal at the local pub-with-a-soft-play and see if we can’t get the eldest kid to distract the youngest kid for long enough for me and my partner to have a conversation.
