Because any judge or jury that can be corrupted by a livestream is already unreliable and shouldn’t be trusted.
It’s not just about that, which is already a bad defense as the jury is just regular people and we all know how easily influenced regular people are. It’s about the court of public opinion. Take the Depp v Heard trial. Intimate details from the case become memes online and people make their minds up on the verdict regardless of what the actual outcome is.
