I watched one of his vids on Mulan ages ago and it sucked. He misrepresented major plot points from the original Disney film in order to pretend that a 90s kids feminist icon wasn’t “woke” (and of course he didn’t engage with the original poem at all) and all of his analysis was just surface level engagement with the material, no deep thoughts whatsoever.
