Beyond all Reason is an RTS inspired by Total Annihilation. I never played TA but I played a lot of Supreme Commander and it feels very similar.
Minetest with Mineclone2 mod is pretty fun
There’s a load of engine re-implementations and forks like OpenXCOM, OpenMW, Exult, OpenTTD, OpenRCT2, Arx Libertatis, Thief The Dark Mod, ZDOOM, OpenRA, etc.
