There exists an actually decent 3 colour version by Uni, which is slim enough. I think it is in the Jetstream series. 4 makes it thick. However, you need atmost 2 colours most of the times, blue and black.
I personally use Uni Jetstream for my occasional jot downs.
Have you heard good word of the Sharpie Gel Pen? All other pens are in cower before the beauty they effortlessly create. I highly recommend (although to my knowledge they don’t have a multi-colored pen yet)

My first “I bought something because someone on Lemmy said they liked it” moment.

I have not touched a gel pen in over a decade. JetStream just works everywhere except zero gravity and has no flaws. I use the cap version.
I have heard good words about Pentel Energel for gel pens though.
I tell you brother, I was once lost too. Seek the grail. Seek the Sharpie pen.
But, thanks for the JetStream and Pentel Energel recs, I’ll be sure to give them a try. But the sharpie pen has been downright life-changing.
