not even republicans like school vouchers, plus im pretty sure that is solely a state issue for the most part? All i know is Kentucky voted against even making school vouchers an idea(it was an amendment just to approve the possibility of a plan, to allow the legislature to discuss it.) In a state as deeply red and stupid as KY i was surprised it got voted down.
Excellent point. They’ll have to come up with a new system or maybe just different branding. My hunch is that it will be effectively vouchers but they’ll give it another name like SchoolChoice or FreedomEducation something.
“school choice” is already the current euphemism, they’d have to either come up with something else or just hope slapping trump’s name on it pushes it over the line
