      It’s a much higher legal burden to get a murder convictions though. Proving things like intentional malice is very tricky, especially if the prosecutor knows they’re likely to face an all white jury in rural Florida.

        well, it’s still life since she’s 60 years old….
        but, if you shoot someone through your door for banging on the door and yelling, that’s definitely trying to kill them.
