Question first: what’s the science behind and/or physiologically happening when someone is “cock drunk”? Are there blood pressure changes, dopamine/serotonin increases or any other kind of noticeable changes in the human body when someone is cock drunk?
I’ve tried google’ing but of course only get porn results and was hoping someone here (still avoiding Reddit) could explain what’s happening to someone when they experience this.
I’ve experienced that feeling before and it’s amazing but have always wondered what’s actually going on up there when you’re in a place where you basically have an empty mind and have an insatiable craving to be used and fucked.
Alright, I’ll take a stab at actually answering this from a scientific perspective.
Our bodies are hardwired to want sex. This comes with a wide range of effects. There are the basic physiological responses like boners (vasodilation) and vaginal lubrication of course but it goes far beyond that.
When you start having sex your body releases dopamine, oxytocin, endorphins, etc. All of these contribute to that feeling of intense pleasure and euphoria.
Studies have also shown that regions of the brain associated with pleasure, sensory processing, and emotional bonding are activated during sex.
Really there’s just a lot of different stuff happening in your brain to give that you that feeling of intense pleasure. It crowds out your other thoughts and feelings momentarily.
Our bodies are the product of billions of years of evolution. A major factor in the successful propagation of life is successful reproduction. Imagine if you didn’t like penetrative sex. The odds of you having children go down a lot. The people who do like having penetrative sex pass their genes on to their children and so on.
With that said, I don’t think “cock drunk” is a distinct thing. It’s just another part of the same biological system. It is just being horny.
