I’m covered with no end of tattoos that are going to look dumb as fuck if I ever make it to that stage of life. I’ve never understood this logic/argument. How often do you look at a bare skinned octogenerian and think, “this dude looks fly as fuck. Must be that unadorned, albeit saggy and liver marked skin”

Dignity is a luxury if you make it to that age. Might as well enjoy my shit now

It’s a lot less about the tattoo and more about the content. I’ve got a tattoo as well, but mine doesn’t have some threat of violence.

What I thought was epic in my teens isn’t quite as cool now. Having gone through enough life, I’m pretty sure the trend continues.

That’s what I was getting at.

That’s why I can’t get a tattoo ever. Anything I thought was cool, 10 years later I’m like, that’s some juvenile shit.

        Needless aggression is a culture.

That’s because in previous generations their only tattoo would be a heart with their wife’s name or a picture of the battleship they were stationed on. GenX/millennials got some cringey fucking tattoos, and they’re going to be exponentially cringier when they reach Depends age. Imagine a 90 year old woman with a tramp stamp
