This game is the reason why a guy [the legendary u/-YoRHa2B-] started working on dxvk, to make this game compatible on linux after it released. Valve hired him and made Proton out of it. The result is the Steam Deck, this remains one of the best games for the SD.
I jumped into Nier:Automata pretty blind, but ended up loving and completing it! I’m generally not a huge fan of JRPGs (either find them a huge grind, or story just too impenetrable), but found this flowed and the story, although still quite strange, I could actually get. All-in-all, good stuff. Oh, and I found the soundtrack absolutely gorgeous! Ended up buying that on vinyl.
