I just platinumed Jedi Survivor (which was awesome, you should play it) and I’m looking for my next new awesomeness to play.
Almost done with Control right now. It’s a really good game. A little too creepy though!
Control is one of my favorite games. Everything about it was excellent. I’m so glad they’re making a sequel.
Control is one of my all time favs, only one of three games I’ve ever 100%'d on steam.
I have been finishing up Tunic. The game is fantastic and I love seeing all of the small little things that have been accessible the whole time that I have since gained the knowledge to interact with.
Right now, Battlebit Remastered (which I just bought). Despite being not that good at the gunplay yet, I’m doing well and having fun just playing a medic and dragging people out of the line of fire for revives and heals. Highlight of today was frantically healing everyone in a full chopper while we dueled an enemy chopper over a capture point, with the pilot micspamming Pirates of the Caribbean music the whole time. Really brings me back to the good ol days of multiplayer lobbies (without a lot of the casual bigotry - game seems pretty good at actually banning it so far).
Man I really want to try this now. Sounds awesome.
I’ve been playing Battlebit Remastered on Steam and holy shit while it looks awful it’s one of the funnest FPS I have played in a while. Super fun, super smooth, and scratches the COD itch from when I was a kid. I HIGHLY reccomend it!
Also Tears of the Kingdom.
That’s the low poly shooter right? That actually looks pretty fun. I’ll have to try it.
Yeah I was hesitant at first because of the low poly but the gameplay is top tier.
Exact same for me. Been enjoying Zelda a ton and slowly making my way through it.
Did some of the play tests for battlebit and so happy about how it’s been embraced as it’s what I’ve wanted from modern battlefields.
+1 on Battlebit. Battlefield 1942, and similarly Vietnam, were my favorite. I always felt like Dice/EA just kept gradually turning everything up to 11 after that. Battlebit feels like a well balanced, intentional concept, that balances speed, strategy, and the opportunities for ridiculous moments just right!
Replaying Control, I can play this one repeatedly.
DayZ and Dwarf Fortress. The DF official soundtrack is so ooooo good
Cyberpunk !
Same! I’m slowly working my way through a melee build. Definitely won’t finish before the patches change the gameplay significantly. Not sure how that’ll feel mid playthrough
I’ve mostly been playing Wreckfest on my Steam Deck. Fun to pick up and play a few rounds.
My router died a couple of days ago (using mobile data to post this) do I have to play offline games… Good thing I installed a bunch of games on GoG just in case. Tried out Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis this morning, currently clearing the tutorial dungeon in Daggerfall Unity.
Final Fantasy XVI while keeping up with my dailies on Final Fantasy XIV and Star Trek Online and Savage raiding in Final Fantasy XIV
Having a blast with FF XVI. It’s definitely one of the most polished of recent games, everything just looks and plays fantastic. Even if the game is super shallow as soon as you do anything other than the main story. The fantastic voice of Ralph Ineson is the cherry on top.
Agree with you on the polish of FF16, but not so much on the side quests. I find that some of them - not all - add a little extra to the main quest line. But I’m also finding everything in the game to be pretty enjoyable.
Oh yeah, I was more refering to the structure of the side quests, which are usually simple fetch or fight quests. There’s also no variations in outfits and crafting is barely there. But some side quests really do add to the main story. I just went through the side quests before the big Mothercrystal heist - damn, some of those are dark!
Kingdom Eighties, it came out today and it’s a little bit of a spinoff from the traditional kingdom games, quite fun tho!
Just started back into Elden Ring. It’s crazy how much of the map is still left 140 hours in.
Final Fantasy XVI, and it’s consuming my thoughts to a degree that surprises me, considering I haven’t really liked one of those games since FFX. I’ve already put 15 hours on it since Friday (quite a bit for me, I don’t get very much time to game these days). It really is incredible; I haven’t had this much fun with a game since probably Read Dead II. I’m also playing Battlebit Remastered on the rare occasion that my friends and I are able to game at the same time.
I travel for work so on my laptop I installed Fallout 4 with a modpack obtained through Wabbajack installer (Welcome to Paradise) and I’m playing through as a melee-only knight. I’m using console commands to stock up on stimpacks and radaway so that I don’t have to stop and loot since I’ve played this game several times; I can just run around like a madman with a sword, slicing legions of enemies apart. Playing it as an action game has been a ton of fun. Also nice username/pic @Teft, I’m a big Stormlight Archives fan.
7 Days to Die. Basic zombie survival game. Friends and I set up a server and have been playing on and off for the past 2 years. The latest alpha version (A21) came out recently, so started playing again.
