    But at the same time, they started the community here, and it doesn’t seem right to dictate to the group running the place what they have to do with it. In any other circumstance, we would trust the mods to have the interests of the community in mind, as they come up with and enforce the rules/code of conduct on their own. And when we no longer trust them, we go somewhere else.

    Handing over the reigns to someone else to run the community would be an admirable move, but I don’t think it should be a requirement or even an expectation, given that anyone could just choose to start their own alternative community instead and run things however they want. And that’s what ended up happening anyways, and what I would prefer to let happen rather than propping up the corpse of LBZ 196.
