You can change your sex in many cases, because it is not determined by your chromosomes like some people believe. There are other factors. Most trans people are biologically speaking intersex once they start HRT and stay that way their whole life.
Some people are also born intersex even though it is not the chromosomes which are “wrong”. Of course there are also other combinations of chromosomes than just the 2 most people are familar with heard of.
The whole discussion is bogus and should be left to the experts. For everyday use the biological sex is completely irrelevant and many people might not even be aware that they don’t neatly into one of the assumed binary pockets.
Can someone please point me to the part of the body that contains gender?
The armpits.
I feel like people are confusing born gender and gender role. You can’t change the former but you can the latter.
Usually people would say biological sex is different from gender.
I.e. I can be born sex female and then identify as the male gender.
My sex doesn’t change (I can’t alter my DNA) but the presentation of my gender does.
