    This is likely related to Trump’s recent declaration that Tariffs on TSMC may be forthcoming (and with it the collapse of any US AI ventures).

      AMD is a corporation just like Nvidia so don’t expect them to have any morals with Trump either, they care about the shareholder value not fascism.

      The rules severely limit chips sales overseas and prompted a sharp response from both Nvidia and Advanced Micro Devices. They’re expected go into effect this year, but Trump has the power to reverse them.
