Summary

The Department of Transportation (DOT) has issued a memo prioritizing federal funding for communities with marriage and birth rates above the national average.

The directive, which applies to grants, loans, and contracts, also prioritizes projects benefiting families with young children.

A congressional aide criticized the policy, saying, “Considering fertility rates when prioritizing federal grants? We obviously have no idea what the full impact of that will be… It’s absolutely creepy. It’s a little ‘Chinese government.’”

The memo also blocks mask mandates and requires compliance with immigration enforcement.

Ah yes I’d forgotten about all those elections in a winner takes all system where a candidate was polling at 1% the day before election turned out to win it. Your obnoxious posting style really helped me remember that absolutely true fact.

One day before? How about 12 months before? How about 4 years before? I’ve been hearing your lesser of two evils bullshit for 25 years. You locked yourselves in a prison and threw away the key. There is no escape for you all until you reject your own fucked up self-defeating mentality. Period. You will keep voting for mass murderers and they will keep tightening their grip until we’re all dead. They just have to keep pantomining “big tough Muricans vs. opposition with a conscience” enough for you to buy it. And we’re all stuck on the ship you decided to sink. We’re truly fucked as a species because of the idiocy of people like you.

So do what I literally said before, build up a party, take places that you have a realistic chance of winning, build your parties power base and then take larger constituencies. That’s how a an organisation actually interested in political power would go about it with multiple years out. Not trying to jump to the highest level office in the land where the mathematical reality of the system insists that that one of the top two candidates will win.

Jesus fucking christ. YOU BUILD A PARTY UP BY VOTING FOR IT. PEOPLE EMPLOY THE SAME FUCKING “LESSER OF TWO EVILS” LOGIC FOR PEOPLE IN THE SENATE, AND HOUSE, AND GOVERNOR SEATS. EITHER THE POPULATION TAKES THE INITIATIVE TO ACTUALLY VOTE FOR PEOPLE WHO AREN’T MASS MURDERERS, OR MASS MURDERERS STAY IN POWER, PERIOD.

Stop messaging me. I’m seriously going to scream, you’re so fucking stupid.

If you dont understand the difference between trying to start by winning a mayoralty of a town of 10,000 people then some state legislature seat and trying to win the president of the USA without an existing power base I dont know what to tell you. I cant break that down to being any simpler for you as to why starting with the later before you’ve managed the former is pointless.
