Lifelong football enjoyer here, but I can no longer stomach the NFL anymore. I realize the league is, and has always been, an entertainment business but they don’t even bother hiding the massaging anymore. This superbowl was awful honestly. Pregame performers were bad and had no energy, halftime show was awful to listen to if you didn’t know Kendrick’s music already, and the game was a beat down. The only saving grace was mahomes flopping on the big stage after everyone hyped that team up for the 3peat
I mean, how was the game? Surely you don’t watch it for the singers.
The game was extremely one-sided and the chiefs looked like what I expected. Strong defense, weak offense that couldn’t do anything against a better defense. But the entire year the announcers talked about how great mahomes was, and how they were going to just turn it up when it was superbowl time. That didn’t happen
