Ah, I had quite the similar experience with Michu. He is even yellow like Louie. We… huh, accept him in our home back in 2011. He really gave us no choice when he laid down, belly up, at our feet. We don’t know his actual age. Sometimes I wonder how was his life prior to living with us, but he was clearly traumatized from living in the streets. Took him like three years to meow.
That’s unfortunate that he was traumatized from the streets. But I’m glad he’s in a good home now. What’s funny is we have 2 cats right now, Louie and Mishca, both of them were from the street and decided they would live with us. Luckily, neither of them had any trauma from the streets which is pretty amazing.
Lucky guys. Funny, indeed. We did end up with another street cat, but this little fellow, fortunately, didn’t suffer from his time alone. Love to Louie and Mishka, and thank you for sharing.
I don’t know for sure, he was abandoned by some people on our block and then he told us he is living with us. That was back in 2012.
