That’s something I’ve really been loving with Lemmy. It’s a chance to rebuild with much more community and kindness! Excited for the future of this place
It’s because of all the people like you.
I have had many fun conversations with people here, and even when there are people who have unpopular opinion, there are no personal attacks or spreading hate. It feels like the kind of place where you can make friends that last you a long time.
There are more than 7000 people here, with hundreds visiting the community every week, and I haven’t had to moderate anything yet (except for one message, from an account which only posted 4 messages, all spam in different communities).
So, thanks to all of you!
