Haven’t heard any “ten Hag out” voices yet, thankfully, but when do people start blaming him?

Yeah, injuries are bad, but that happens to all clubs. Are they trying too hard and forgetting the fundamentals, especially at defending? Lack of effort?

Why not put in the young guys? They’ll definitely give the required effort to impress.

I don’t know, I’m just pissed at my team.

What do they have to do with the performances and results? They don’t pick the team and tell them how to play.

their failure to manage to club leaves managers with a patchwork squad where players simply don’t fit together, remember Ole didn’t say much about the Glazers and how the club is run but he said one thing, Sancho was identified as a Right-winger of choice and when he arrived he told Ole he prefers playing on the left. that’s the kind of incompetence ETH is surrounded with.

Last season was built on the defensive output of Case-Licha and Varane

Casemiro has been simply not the same since his second red card and has been rather awful this season.

        Licha is out.

        he has no left-backs.

one thing you can blame him for I guess is continuing to play Casemiro instead of putting Lindelof at LB and playing Maguire and Amrabat at 6.

but the team is visibly mentally fragile as it has been for a long time.

Honestly I am losing faith in even Bruno, I don’t remember him ever stepping up in a “big game” meaning a game with a lot of pressure, but I do remember him shouting at Dalot, Casemiro, Antony etc.

I’d agree if this was a new phenomenon, the team has been capitulating for years now, it can’t be always the managers fault can it?

the issue is we are trying to find the one person to helm the club, football has long moved past that model and United should too, but while glazers are doing the appointments it’s not gonna happen.

that’s just the reality of the situation shit rolls downhill.

like what do yoh expect will happen if ETH gets sacked? we get a new manager, will he have the same tactics as ten hag? I doubt it, what willl we do with the players that were bought specifically to fit into ETH’s system?

even if we get a new manager bounce and make into CL next season then what? next season the team will crumble under pressure again and we can rinse and repeat.

It’ll happen eventually, and then we’ll be back at square 1. If it was up to me he’d be here next season too at least. The club and players are a shambles. No point bringing a new manager in just so we’re in the same position in 2 years.

Let ten Hag do whatever he wants to do. If it works out great, if not at least we gave him more of a chance than our other managers.

Tbh I don’t want to sign 80-90 mil players anymore. If it gets to the point where no one wants to join us and we actually need to scout properly, that’s better imo. Sick and tired of these big egos.

Better players? Palace has better players? Galatasaray has better players? The teams we’ve lost to don’t have better players than us.

I am really hoping ETH succeeds here. If results don’t start picking up though I’m worried he’ll be sacked.

I still think he’s a good manager and could be successful here given enough time. Let’s not forget that arsenal were a shambles for multiple seasons under Arteta. Even Liverpool under Klop were struggling with injuries and a poor start to last season.

it doesn’t work mainly due to Casemiro, he keeps giving away the ball with his stupid passes in positions where you can’t really afford to give away the ball then it looks like we are being carved apart when in reality it’s just what happens when you make technical errora you shouldn’t be making.

and then he failed to track his man multiple times who then scored from a cutback pass.

against Brighton he was finally taken off as punishment Bruno played as 6 and did the same thing, didn’t track Pedro and he scored from a cut back.

these are errors that are simply on the players, no matter the tactics if you keep fucking up the basics.

Ole said the same thing, people get too int9 the tactics side of things but if you keep losing duels, put in less effort than the opposition then tactics doesn’t matter, there is no tactics that can make that work.

yeah I said elsewhere that I guess the main thing to criticize him for is playing Casemiro, though to be fair for most games Amrabat wasn’t here to cover then he used him at LB, and other options are like, Mctominay who looked just as bad or worse than Casemiro.

I guess I would have played Lindelof RB and Maguire-Varane and Amrabat instead of case but we are really stretching where the weakness will be in the team.

          simply too many injuries

The last thing we want to do is turn on the manager, he is dealing with enough problems that have been inflicted on him already. The external problems with Greenwood and Anthony! The massive list of injuries we started the season with. The terrible job that was done in the transfer window behind the scenes, i.e. expecting to move on Maguire etc. But they are still here. He just hasn’t had a chance to build his team without everything else conspiring against him. Feel bad for him and the team as a whole.

Unfortunately no quick fix, wellyjust have to be patient. 🥺
