I’m done episode 3 and I’m going “ugh”. Not in the same way that the first 5 seasons had me going UGH but still an unsettling feeling in my gut about the story Charlie Brooker is trying to tell. Ep 1 and 2 were pretty good on that front but I feel like ep 3 turned on a dime in believable character actions.

Maybe I have mistaken but I thought Black Mirror involves sci-fi elements?

Did I really watched a Black Mirror season? Some episode involves none of sci-fi part, and even straight up in supernatural category.

Oh, I guess I took “Black Mirror” literally, as in at the end of the episode and the TV is blank, it’s just me (and maybe whoever I’m watching with) looking into this black reflective screen and I’m staring back at me. Like, what I just watched is a figurative reflection of me and I, as a human being, am capable of being as cruel and disgusting and angry as the characters in each story. The only difference is not because it’s fiction, it’s because I’ve never been put into a desperate enough situation to truly test that theory.
