On update 3.5 of Steam OS, there was a call out about being able to customize the overlay by editing the ~/.config/MangoHud/preset.conf.

I’m looking for a simple FPS and battery percentage overlay. Ideally FPS in the top left and battery percent in the top right corner but I’d settle for help with them just next to each other.

Could anyone assist me in drafting the text for this?

    Just install decky loader, install MangoPeel, and you can configure the overlay in the plugin settings right in your steam deck.

      I tried using it last night and couldn’t configure it to my liking. I’m about to watch the video another user posted to see if that could offer assistance.
