Actually, when I think of it, that’s just one among the endless amount of interpretations that focus on parts of the narrative and forget post of the rest to redefine a religion. Some of these narratives stay and become the dogma. Other vanish and are quickly forgotten.

But didn’t you know the old testament doesn’t count? Or at lest not the parts that don’t further their preferred narrative
