The only real thing that’s held me back from going iPhone after almost 15 years of Android phones was rif.

In hindsight that doesn’t seem like it should have been that big of a deal lol.

Man you missed out on Apollo. It was glorious. I also wish I avoided vendor lock in like you did. The only thing stopping me from going to android is…having to replace thousands of dollars of various home electronics for my family…sigh. You win jobs.

You should definitely give iOS (and other options) a go. Presuming you can afford to be wrong. It might suit your lifestyle. Then again, it might not. Never be afraid to try new stuff.

Don’t do it. iOS is terrible and Apple is an especially awful company. And their devices are insanely overpriced.

There are many reasons to go Android over iOS. RIF is just the tip of the iceberg. If you switch, you’ll feel like you’ve gone back to KitKat.

I have been an “I hate Apple but it’s the only UI I can tolerate” consumer for a while. But recently due to Apple’s commitment to data privacy (specifically in contrast to Google) I think I’m gonna stick with them.
