minus-squareCthulhu@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkarrow-up2·1 year agoHe really is incredible. Those two are going to be hard to beat.
minus-squareWriterly Gal@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up1·1 year agoI agree. I do hope that MvdP will be able to finish the Tour this time, though, and ride for a victory of his own at one time.
minus-squareKrob@feddit.nlOPlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·1 year agoJust watched the highlights, it’s incredible indeed that was some pull he gave.
minus-squarerckclmbr@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up2·1 year agoIt’s kind of bogus you can be the “enforcer”, breaking all the rules, get relegated, and your team still gets the win. Everything outside of the push was awesome though.
minus-squareWriterly Gal@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up1·1 year agoI had missed the push! Only saw later that he was punished for it. I think Philipsen was in the wrong against van Aert on Monday. As an aside, I read a suggestion the other day about sprint finishes: to paint lanes on the roads and then everyone has to stick to theirs. In theory, that’s a good idea, but I think it won’t work. All they see is the finish and at such high speeds lanes would lead to crashes too.
