Hello to all!
I use hosting online for which I pay for Cpanel, and the webmail is roundcube. We are also using Outlook Desktop Windows App.
Due to a problem, I need to retreive all emails that were transiting on my accounts so I can communicate the issue with them. However, after several hours of research, I can’t find how to get a list of all emails.
I’d be grateful for any advice at all.
Thank you
I believe I understand what you’re trying to do.
You’ll need to use an “All Mail” search folder (google this if unfamiliar). Then you’ll need to setup a custom view with the columns to and from (I believe you may need a custom field to get all the data you desire but cannot recall what one). Then it’s as simple as highlighting all in that “search folder” and dragging the highlighted files into a blank excel sheet.
From there you can clean up the output, remove duplicates etc and enjoy.
Hello!
I’ve been looking around for this answer but I can’t quite setup the All Mail Folder. Would you be able to guide me? Google doesn’t seem to be of help…
Thanks
Hey mate, hopefully this lets me post a link: https://www.lifewire.com/all-mail-folder-outlook-1173767
But I just googled “All Mail Search Folder in Outlook”
Too little info to give much of a response, but I’d grep the mail server log.
Hi! What informations would be missing? :)
It seems you want a list of email addresses, at least, but don’t have the emails themselves, correct? If so, do you have access to the mail server? If so, what operating system, what mail service, do you have access to the logs?
For example, I run my own mail server. If I lost my emails, using the logs, I could extract the sender’s address and the address (actual or alias) the sender sent to.
