Poor bread, floppy and mass produced. Sparse cheese. Thin ham. No evidence of condiments besides butter. I’m sure it’s fine, but can’t give it more than 5/10

To improve score: upgrade your bread, get some proper mature cheddar in there, triple the ham, or get the good thick stuff, spread some mustard or chutney in there and finish off with some pickles or go out there and put some olives or tapenade in there. Really lifts the flavour profile

I need to try the tapenade idea, that one’s never occurred to me before. Chopping up olives and sweet pickles and mixing in a bit of Coleman’s has been a semi-classic addition to my sandwiches for a little while now

People commonly neglect saltiness in their sandwiches, even if it’s as simple as just literally adding some salt (and pepper).

Ham and cheese I take it? You can’t go wrong with a classic.

Personally I’d go for brown bread instead with some salad leaves thrown in. If I want to be really fancy, some thinly sliced gherkin and spring onion. Gives me something extra special to look forward to at work!

Beautiful… This was a last minute run round the kitchen when you totally forgot to make them the night before. 🤣🤣

    7/10.

Not a massive fan of grated cheese on a sandwich as I find the cheese tends to actively look to fall out of the bread, but aside from that it looks alright.

    What you eating tomorrow?

Grated is to be kept for toasties/cheese on toast (and a wee drop of lea & Perrins, mind).

Mmmm salad and tuna. Might even treat myself to some salad cream. 😁🫣
