The hard part of recreating the Reddit experience while kbin gets off the ground is that there’s very little stuff to repost.

    I think it’s a good opportunity for renewal: since Kbin is so young, it doesn’t have the vices or the overwhelming amount of contents from Reddit, while also having a simpler and less intimidating UI.
    So if the user sees a magazine/community that seems even a little interesting, I think it’s worth subscribing. There’s a chance it’s a good community the user always skipped on Reddit for the aforementioned reasons.
    And that’s also what I’ve been doing, and I certainly don’t regret.
