      Controversial opinion here, please read everything before formulating an opinion :p

      That’s a very complicated way of saying “almost never,” because under the current social-economic system, people need money to survive, and most people, in the US at least, have a savings balance of something very close to zero. Even if everyone in the US quit their jobs today and starved on the streets, I heard there are many skilled workers in China who are currently unemployed. If all the laborers in Europe walked out tomorrow, I heard there are many starving African children who would labor 25 hours a day for a bite to eat. For a general strike to be even considered, UBI must be implemented globally, which we are not even close to doing.
