Every few years I try Domino’s again to make sure my avoidance of them is justified and every time I’m reminded how right I am. Before you think I’m just a pizza snob, I like and semi regularly get Pizza Hut.

Pizza hut is definitely better than Dominos, but at least in here (Spain), it’s expensive as fuck, whereas Dominos is not that bad and it’s much cheaper.

Domino’s is dirt cheap here in Australia. Until last year, they were still doing large pizzas for $5 (which works out to something like 3 euros). They’ve gone up to $7 now, but that’s still really cheap for a pizza that really isn’t that bad

It’s actually insulting that they’re still allowed to call what they serve as a large pizza a large pizza. Then they had the balls to offer an “extra large” for more money which was the size they used to be.

By comparison though, they don’t offer anything that big in the US for anything near as cheap as $7 AUD.

Pizza Hut in America is the absolute worst, Aussie Domino’s level I’d guess. The thin crust is marginally better than their other stuff.

May as well straight up say “Were confident we use the cheapest ingredients available, and we couldn’t possibly pay our staff less!”

It’s funny how different Domino’s America and Domino’s Australia is. In Australia their pizza is so cheap it sounds like it must be made of cardboard. Over here they use pretty good ingredients. Little Caesars is our cheap enough to be cardboard pizza place.

As an Aussie living in the USA… Little Caesars is better than Australian Domino’s. Aussie Pizza Hut is terrible too.

On the other hand, Aussie KFC is significantly better than the US version. Not as good as Popeyes or Chick Fil A though.

I do enjoy my US KFC, but I can’t go there anymore after taking a peek inside their kitchen and seeing the loads of food safety violations.

Jokes aside, there’s actually a possibility of getting decent deals with this. I seem to recall both pizza hut and Domino’s doing similar things in the past, but I haven’t seen any of these signs in ages, so I just assumed they’d stopped doing it

This is the Sebastopol Domino’s if anyone happens to be out that way and has some coupons for other pizza shops

A decent deal would invariably involve decent pizza, so that’s not happening in Domino’s

*Cries in Seattle having some of the worst pizza but still costs $30+

Seriously though I don’t know why Seattle pizza is so underwhelming I used to live in Idaho they have better pizza and Idaho doesn’t do anything well. Why is dominoes on par with the other places in Seattle but way cheaper.

Someone has now officially tried Delfino’s! It is pretty good but I only give it a half win for Seattle because it is a very Chicago pizza. Regardless I’m happy I went and seems like somewhere I’ll actually go back to so that puts it in the ‘some of the best in Seattle’ category for me.

Ian’s on the hill has fun stuff, I recommend the steak and tots. I don’t eat a lot of pizza since I got in shape but those two have long been solid.

Domino’s is pretty good pizza. A lot lot better than most local places. Most local places, especially outside cities are garbage pizza.

Sebastopol/sevastopol is the capital of Crimea. I’m dropping in from viewing all communities, it appears it’s also the name of a suburb in Australia?

They don’t have much consistency across franchises. All the Domino’s range from edible to garbage to utter garbage.

What we have noticed (with all pizza shops, probably most franchises takeaway shops) is; A) they open with original Franchisees. Food quality is great and price is appropriate. B) they start replacing managers with casual staff paid nothing. C) Franchise gets sold. D) new franchise owners skimp on everything and quality goes down significantly.

The problem is that if you skimp on cheap ingredients for a Souvlaki GR or Burgled, the quality goes from fantastic, to mediocre, to meh. Dominos starts at Mediocre, crashes to Shit immediately after the honeymoon period.
