I do this all the time but never realized that I don’t know what it’s called until now and now I have to know.
That’s called a sin
Task manager
Force closing an app, but you should only do it when an app is having issues. Doing it habitually to all apps for no reason is not only obsessive and obnoxious but it actually does a disservice to your phone.
You mean being paranoid that leaving apps open is using more battery and slowing your phone down?
This is not needed with phones anymore. You actually force your phone to use more energy to reopen the app.
force closing apps? lol
It’s called the android. Jk
Quitting/force quitting an app?
Unnecessary.
what tf
it’s similar to going to task manager and ending a program on windows. “force close” is Mac’s equivalent. therefore for iphone and mac’s the technical term is force closing~
This is “Quitting” and app on iOS. It is absolutely not required and not even recommended, unless you are having app issues. Apple Support The iOS system is designed to have all the apps sitting here in the multi-tasking view in a frozen state. When you swipe up and fully quit the app, it will actually use more processing power and in consequence, more battery to reopen from the fully closed state.
It’s called, Nooooooooo I didn’t mean to close thaaaaaaaat!
Or, “Wait, what app was I switching to?”
You call it stupid because it’s 100% unnecessary
App Switcher and then quitting an app
I still call it “double-tapping out” even though it’s a swiping motion now
